We all love the magical taste of spaghetti entwined in creamy tomato sauce with cheese sprinkles. Spaghetti is a dish loved by all and is super easy to make. Give your kids and yourself a treat of rich and creamy veggie spaghetti.

Quick And Easy Spaghetti In Tomato Sauce

  1. Boil water in a saucepan over medium heat and add a pinch of salt. Drop spaghetti pasta in the boiling water and let it cook for a few minutes. Strain the water, drizzle some olive oil over the spaghetti, and keep it aside.
  2. Boil the chopped tomatoes. Now, let them cool for some time. Once cooled, drain the water and peel the skins.
  3. Grind the tomatoes into a fine and thick paste.
  4. Take a thick saucepan and heat olive oil. Now finely chop 6 cloves of garlic and 1 medium size onion. Add them to the olive oil. Sauté them until it turns golden and tender.
  5. Now thinly slice 1 carrot and 1 capsicum. Add the pieces to the pan. Roast the vegetables until cooked.
  6. Once the vegetables are cooked, add the tomato purée, 4 roughly torn basil leaves, a pinch of salt, black pepper powder, oregano, and chili flakes.
  7. Stir the mixture and keep it on low flame until it boils.
  8. Add the boiled spaghetti pasta to the sauce. Slowly stir the sauce and spaghetti together.
  9. Add fresh cream and cook on high heat until the pasta is well cooked in the tomato sauce.
  10.  To finish, sprinkle grated cheese on the top while serving.

Chef Tip: To cook perfect spaghetti, strain the water when the paste reaches the biting consistency. After straining the water, always pour cold water to avoid soggy pasta.
