  • Garlic cloves minced
  • Peanut butter(home or ready-made)
  • Sugar
  • Red chili flakes
  • Soy sauce
  • Chicken breast
  • Vegetable oil

  1. Prepare your grill at high heat (up to 450 deg C). Start by cooking minced garlic and peanut butter in a saucepan until simmering. This should take around 4-5 minutes. Whisk sugar, chili flakes soy sauce with ⅔ cups of water. Reduce the heat and simmer; occasionally stir until it thickens.
  2. On the other side, rub the chicken with oil and salt and put it on the heated grill until golden brown on both sides and thoroughly cooked. You will require around six minutes on each side. 
  3. Brush peanut butter over the chicken breast and cook until it caramelizes. Serve with a vegetable salad on the sides.

Chef Tip: Serve with Asian veggies and teriyaki sauce for added flavors. A heap of steamed rice would also be an excellent accompaniment. Grill the chicken breasts until charred for a crispy bite.
