  • Shredded duck meat
  • Frying oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Sherry vinegar
  • Dijon mustard
  • Olive oil
  • Thinly sliced onions
  • Minced garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • Bread crumbs
  • All-purpose flour

Delicious and Juicy Duck Nuggets

  1. Take a medium bowl and mix together the shredded duck meat with one spoon of sherry vinegar and Dijon mustard. Set aside.
  2. Heat a pan on medium flame. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and let it heat up. Add the garlic, onions, Italian seasoning with paprika and mustard powder. Saute till the onions become translucent. Let it cool for a while now. 
  3. After a while, you can mix the meat mixture with the onions. Let it cool down for another 15 minutes.
  4. Beat some eggs in a dish and also take flour and bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes alongside. Scoop out a tablespoon of the duck mixture and use your hands to form the nuggets. Dip them into the flour, and then the eggs, and finally roll them on the bread crumbs. Make all the nuggets and keep them aside.
  5. Take a large skillet and pour some oil for frying. Let it heat up a bit, and then add the nuggets carefully. Work in batches of 8 to cook one and then flip to the other side. Cook every batch for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Put them out in a napkin to soak the extra grease. Serve them hot with a dash of lemon juice and your favorite dipping sauce.

Chef Tip: Make sure that your mixture is cool enough to handle while making the nuggets. The consistency must be thick enough so that the nuggets stay in shape while cooking.
